What is N.I.C.E?

N.I.C.E is a non-profit making organisation that hosts events and activities to demonstrate the wide variety of skills the Newfoundland breed of dog has to offer both on land and in the water.

These displays include things such as sea-rescues, carting, swimming, Christmas tree pulling, walking and all the fun stuff such as cuddles and petting.

We host venues in the Norfolk region and although we do not charge for these activities we offer the organisers the option to make donations.

Types Of Venue

We can cater for a variety of events such as school fetes, jumble sales, parties and carnivals etc. Unfortunately due to the welfare of our animals we do not cater for Firework displays or similar events.

A word from our founder

May I take this opportunity to introduce myself, our group and our friends.

First of all my name is Mark Sage and I am the founder of the non-profit organization 'Newfoundland's In Charitable Events', we call ourselves N.I.C.E. I have set up this small organization to introduce people to a wonderful breed of dog the Newfoundland by entertaining people with carting display's, water display's and just by them being fussed by all available.

I started this group because I am proud of the breed and through some research we found that we could do a lot more than just walk them around and swim them so with a bit more hard work we have brought together a couple of people who own Newfoundland's. We now have the pleasure of entertaining people and raising funds for the Newfoundland Club Welfare Scheme, we do not charge for our displays, visits or demonstrations, we ask for donations to be made to our cause and 100% goes to the Newfoundland Club Welfare Scheme.

We are willing to undertake several types of events throughout the year. We are still searching for our christmas tree distributor in the area we work as we would love to set up the tree pulling event where we place the customers tree onto our modified cart/wagon and transport it to their vehicle (please contact us if your able to help).

We have full public liability insurance for anywhere in England and we also now have the relevant insurance to perform cart rides for the children at any of our venues or events.

We are not currently performing any land displays or water displays but we still carry out our carting displays and obviously the big dog cuddles and playtimes.

We always endeavor to put on the best display, demonstration or visit we possibly can. We ask people to contact us as soon as possible to arrange a visit so we can asses the area and organize the equipment etc. If we are asked to perform water work we need to visit the site and ascertain it's depth, condition and above all it's location for accessibility to us and emergency services, this is why we ask for a visit prior to the event commencing. We always try to make this as easy as possible and always at your convenience to avoid any disruption.

We hope we have been of some help and hope to speak to you soon.

Thank you from everyone at N.I.C.E
